Where to eat
Chez Andre
A traditional restaurant offering the best of French food. If you’re heading over at lunch time, there is a set menu on offer that changes for each day of the week which can be a great way to try some traditional cuisine. A favourite with locals and a menu that has a great variety without being too much, it’s a good option if you’re wanting a nice meal that won’t break the bank. Book online or call ahead to make sure you get in!
Little Breizh
For something lighter and a bit of a treat, head over to Little Breizh for a galette in Saint Germain. These savoury crepes are delicious and this restaurant offers a great variety at a reasonable price. Sometimes we can end up tired of huge 3 course meals, and this is the perfect antidote to that and a real treat on your trip!
Girafe
For dinner with a view of Paris, Girafe is an absolute must. Ever dreamt of a romantic meal with the Eiffel Tower in the background? That’s what you’ll get here, along with the best seafood, fish and meat that Paris has to offer. This really is a special place and one to enjoy if you’re in Paris celebrating!

If you're a couple
Paris is the city of love. You really can’t go wrong just exploring the city, remembering to head over to Notre Dame and take a walk along the river. If you’re feeling a bit arty.
If You’re A Group Of Friends
Head over to the cool quarter of Montmartre where you’ll have fantastic views of the city from the Sacré Coeur and the famous cafe from Amelie! It’s also close to the Moulin Rouge, so it’s a great area for both day and night time attractions.
If you're a family
Visit the top of the Eiffel Tower to create memories to remember as a family and take the obligatory tourist picture together! If you have small children, remember you have Disneyland Paris fairly close to the city and it’s well worth a trip out. Book in advance to avoid disappointment and to skip the queues.

Etiquette
Drinking in public spaces is illegal so be careful with picnics in the parks on a sunny day!
- Use at least a few words in French if you can, and always say a polite ‘Bonjour’ when entering shops and restaurants. A little can go a long way and it will show willing. Don’t assume everyone will speak English, it can be really useful to learn a few phrases before landing.
- While it’s not illegal, it’s not common to hail a taxi, so you’ll need to look for a taxi rank (or Uber) if you can.
